The Gables CL site comprises of 5 pitches with hard standing situated on the edge of the unspoilt hamlet of Moorend which is famed for its “Hole-in-the-wall”, a “terrace” of listed buildings which form an archway over the roadway into Moorend. Hence the importance of following our directions when accessing the site with your caravan or motorhome.
Our small holding is ideally situated in an unspoilt rural location offering access to many footpaths in the locality on which you can enjoy stunning views in Bradley & Moorend.
We are an adult only site and welcome dogs.
Being situated close to Ashbourne on the edge of the Peak district there are plentiful tourist opportunities which include Carsington Water, High Peak and Tissington trails, Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall as well as the pretty nearby town of Ashbourne and the stunning chocolate box village of Osmaston with its thatched cottages, duck pond and village pub (both within in walking distance for the active).
