What a welcoming pub stop this is ….parking on either the fenced grass area or the carpark is easy. Pub is community owned and run … fantastic bar manager gill so friendly and helpful. Special offer was buy 4 pints get 1 free !!! And at £4 for madri that’s a bargain. Monday and Tuesday was no kitchen open but they are happy for you to order in takeaway and eat it in the pub. Great facility pkease try snd support this …in the summer it has a lawned rear area with tables. Water available if needed. We had 3 vans here for 2 nights and it is perfectly quiet at night . Food when its available is all home cooked and is reported as excellent by the locals.

Great stopover 5 mins from A55, nice separate and secure grassed area for parking. £5 payable at the bar. Pub and cafe are separate we ordered food and ate it in the pub. Pie of the day looked amazing and good value at around £12.00. Pizzas were made fresh and were good. Great atmosphere in bar with friendly staff and locals. No road noise at night. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Had a lovely night here, was made to feel welcome and safe, paid £5 at the bar. Plenty of space for our moho, easy access. We parked on the grassed area and had a very peaceful night. Thank you for having us. We will definitely return especially now the cafe is open!

Lovely community pub. Specially gated grassed area for parking. But we parked in a quiet corner of the car park as the grass was quite wet. Welcoming locals, and good beer. Food available which looked nice. Peaceful night. Highly recommend.

Nice community pub with friendly landlord and daughter. Live music and other events. Big screen in the bar for sporting events with other screen in outside covered area. Limited choice of beers and ciders, ok if you like lager. Easy access from the main road, separate gated grass paddock for vans, carpark can also be used when very wet. Fresh water tap and bins available for use. Pub toilets only accessible when the pub is open. Great peaceful night, would definitely use again if in the area. At the time of staying £5 per unit per night.

A wonderful little stopover that was perfectly quiet with no road noise making a great nights sleep. There is now a dedicated spot for motorhomes at the back of the pub with a fence and gate. Both hard standing and the grassed areas require chocks to level up. Will use again when heading to the ferry.

What a little gem of a stopover! We stayed on a Sunday having ordered the smallest lunch for 2pm. Delicious, home-cooked and plenty of it. Parked right at the back in shade for the dogs & were allowed to put out canopy & chairs. Staff & customers very welcoming & friendly - a Christening was going on & guests came to chat. Happy noise until 11pm ( from Christening party) but absolute silence afterwards. They are considering adding outside tap & waste unit once other works are completed. Toilets available during pub opening hours.
