A bit off the main routes, but a very pleasant, new stellplatz by the lake on the East Mole of the Marina.
Full facilities including black/grey dump, fresh water and EHU are included in the parking fee (€5 for 24 hours).
Entry is by ticket obtained at the entry barrier. Pay at ticket machine near the stellplatz before setting off for the exit barrier (payment by cash only, coins and/or notes).
No toilets on site but there is a WC just outside the stellplatz entrance, covered in graffiti but clean.
A sandy beach is easily accessible from the area of the stellplatz.
There are numerous restaurants/bars around the harbour area, within easy walking distance from the stellplatz,
Bus from close to the entry into Leipzig - at 13 minutes past the hour from 06:00 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday and at 15 minutes past the hour on Sunday. Time into the city, approx. 45 minutes, then get the number 10 or 11 tram into the city centre (Augustus Platz is an ideal stop).
