There are several campsites and parking areas along this 2km stretch of beach, most of which are only open in the summer. Off-season, the Athena restaurant allowed us to park for free opposite and offered us water and electricity and use of the toilets. We ate well and cheaply in the restaurant, which was one of the few remaining open in the winter.
