Situated between the Mermaid of the North and the site where Britain’s loneliest sheep was found, this former salmon bag net station is a stone’s skiff from the shore, next to Balintore Harbour, close to local shop and pharmacy, and looks towards Shandwick Bay, the Mermaid of the North and the Moray Coast.
Well spaced pitches, quiet site, low light pollution, great stopover for Orkney route. Great views, plenty of trails for walking/cycling, on a good day you might see dolphins and the occasional seal.
