Really good place to stopover for the early morning ferry. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful location. Toilets are open all night and showers are available if you want one - just need to scan the QR code and pay the fee. Definitely be using this stopover again when getting an early morning ferry from Poole.View all reviews by niggsy

Payment £15 by phone but didn't work for us or other campers. Toilet dump and drinking water available at side of toilet block. Parked up about 6pm for 8:30 sailing next day. Most vans at side of building in 2 or 3 rows. Vans move across into lanes for boarding about 7am. Very convenient. Definitely use again.View all reviews by Birder2

A good option if you're on the early morning ferry departure. On site facilities were all very presentable with toilets available round the clock. If you wanted showers then scan the QR code on the post attached to the big blue building, pay the £15 fee and get the access code emailed to you. In theory everyone should pay, in practice most don't seem to.. We were told by a helpful security guy to park as close to big blue building as possible. But most just parked up in the ferry lane they were booked on. Didn't seem to be a problem, although our ferry was far from full. We're definitely going to do this again, if using this route.View all reviews by deighto

Another quiet night on the quay before our BF to Cherbourg. Toilets open but showers now have coded locks. Aparantly if you scan the bar code somewhere you pay your £15 and get a code? Didnt pay and used our own. Water tap has no thread so cant connect a hose. Sluice is perfect with rinse hose.View all reviews by AliAndJim

A car park to wait for the early morning ferry. Plenty of other vans there so safe, free and I think the toilets were open all night. Cafe for coffee in the morning. Recommended for early morning ferries.View all reviews by mapofindia

Grest spot for overnighting before an early ferry. Loos OK and always open. Park by the large blue building if you don’t want to start your check-in early. We overnighted in a check-in line like most others so were on the move earlier than we had anticipated. Condor check in for the Channel Islands also had cars moving (noise) from 0615. We caught the Cherbourg Ferry dep 0830 so were checked in at 0630 then moved to another queue, moved through immigration at 0700 then held again and boarded from 0730. Plan a 3 course breakfastView all reviews by wildthings

We had a very restful night in the departure queue, until the lanes opened around 6am. Clean toilets open all night. Didn't have to pay anything. Would definitely stay again.View all reviews by pandalf

Great option for early morning ferry. Arrived at around 1730 for the following mornings departure and were one of 12 vans. There is a £15 charge which is payable via Poole Harbour Comissioners website (QR codes on the blue building) they send you a code for the showers which are adequate at best. . Doesnt seem to be any rule on where you park whether it be next to the blue building or in the lanes. Inbound ferries arrived at around 7 and 10 but it doesnt inpact you. Cafe opened at 6am.View all reviews by hamishmoffatt
