Whitbarrow Farm is situated just a 16-minutes drive away from Keswick, 15-minutes from Penrith and 16-minutes from Pooley Bridge at the North-end of Ullswater, where you can hop onboard the Ullswater Steamers to Howtown or Glenridding.
Less than half a mile away is Cocklakes Farm Shop and Tea Room is well worth a visit for local produce of a bit to eat. Within 10-minutes walking distance is the Sportsman Pub, with outdoor seating.
If you fancy the fells, nearby you have the mighty Blencathra at 868m high, Great Mell Fell at 537m high, and Little Mell Fell at 505m high. However, the central location makes many of the Lake Districts fells within easy reach.
