A very good site spoiled by a noisy water treatment plant nearby which operates into the nightView all reviews by meggers
Large Aire with Hardstanding, quiet except for the noise from the sewage plant, which did not really bother us. The smell on the steps down to the beach was strong. €8.00 per night +0.55 per person tax. Short walk to grocery store, newsagents and bar, turn right up the hill to the pharmacy. Foot Bleu tokens 1 x 3€ for 4 hours electric. View of sea and sunset amazing. Can work out expensive with electric. Card machine upon exit started to play up and not accept cards. Took 20 mins to reboot.View all reviews by floss
dissappointed. last stayed here 4 years ago ( pre makeover and new barrier). arrived last week, put credit card in barrier machine, followed instructions, the machine took 24€ off my card, spat out 9 flot bleu tokens that I didn't ask for, then said machine out of order and the barrier remained down preventing access.View all reviews by clf86ha
which explained why it was nigh on empty.
Since our last visit a new 'ploppy choppeur' (use your best 'allo 'allo accent) has been installed at the water treatment plant. It seems to run for abour 30 minutes every 2 hours and it is VERY, VERY noisy!! If this continues overnight then this will become a no go aire. ...View all reviews by billoreilly
Otherwise this remains a nice cliff top aire with steps down to a great beach at low tide
P.S.Yes the noisy ploppy choppeur does come on during the night but we had moved to the other side of the aire so it didn't disturb us. I suggest you do not use the hard standings on the right as you enter the aire - or sleep with ear plugs!View all reviews by billoreilly
Lovely Aire with views overlooking the sea, ice walk to the beach and some shops within 5mins walk, barrier to enter and tokens for waste and electric.View all reviews by markdotjames
€8 + €3 for 4hrs electric
As said before it's a lovely view, barriers to get in,you use tokens for EHU from the ticket machine €4 per token for 4hrs EHU.View all reviews by siluspoker
Very busy around space for 25 vans.
Peaceful and quiet.
Wow what a view. A busy spot as we are here now in July. As others have said this Aire is well presented, EHU is on the hard standing pitches but not on the grass. It's first come first served basis. Would strongly recommend.View all reviews by burstner625
Its now 8 euros for 24 hrs. Pay when you leave by master card. Services ie water is by tokens bought at the exit machine. North of the aire (3 mins) are steps leading down to the beach. The main beach (to the south) is a 25 min walk. Not much in the village, about three shops and a pub, oh and would you believe by the pub a red London bus converted to a food take away arrived in the evening. Para gliders fly at the cliffs by the aire.View all reviews by stuarttttt
The sewage works adjacent but hidden didn't smell but was a bit noisy in the night when pumps etc started up for half an hour.
This is a great place to stop off when heading to/from Calais - it's close enough (about 40 mins from the tunnel) and is quite safe.View all reviews by billoreilly
The aire has been upgraded considerable in the last couple of years and is looking quite smart! Many of the pitches are now hard standing but there are some grass ones round the corner. Service points have also been added to provide EHU (paid for by jetons). The entry/exit system is a bit complicated - but there's an English language option on the display - just read the instructions and you'll be fine! Payment is on exit and when we stayed in September 2016 it was 7 Euros.
Very handy to get too , excellent view from the cliff top, sewerage works close but no bother while we were thereView all reviews by chaser
