Quiet and peaceful, in spite of being in such an urban area! A walk up the hill to the bus stop, but a couple of busy roads to cross, depending on which direction you are going. We visited Kirkstall Abbey and Museum by bus, and the other way for a walk round Yeadon Tarn, and lunch at Never Enough Thyme, which was delicious. Can also recommend Maggies tearoom, in walking distance from the site, but you need to book, as it is small. We wanted to eat at The Princess, but they were booked for a private function, so we went to The Woolpack. Basic pub food, probably wouldnt go back if we had a choice. Small Sainsburys at the top of the road, attached to the garage.View all reviews by janettavienetta

Our second visit to this lovely quiet campsite. No facilities but being a motorhome we have our own. Electric hook up and all for £18 a night. Email to Sally and a quick reaponse so good communications. Bus stop a very shirt distance away with buses going to Guiseley, Harrogate, Bradford and Leeds so lots of options if you want some retail theraphy.View all reviews by jdawes57

Excellent, well kept level site near the town of Yeadon. We paid £18 for the night which you drop into the box. Great for accessing local area - we went to Esholt, Ilkley, Ottley and did The Emmerdale tour in Harewood Estate. Short walk to The Sweet Basil Chinese restaurant which is absolutely amazing with lovely atmosphere & great staff. Will definately be back again.View all reviews by suzylou

We initially booked to stay here so that we could attend a concert in Bradford .......but we found that we enjoyed the local area so much that we fully intend to come back in the future to explore the area even more . The site is very well kept, and we found the owners were really friendly and helpful . The lady ( Sorry, I can't remember her name ) found and printed the bus timetable out for us to get a bus into Bradford , which was really easy to do from the nearby bus stop . The site, overall , seems to be so well placed for many good bus services to a variety of destinations. We also enjoyed many walks in the nearby woods and local areas, including a visit to Esholt .View all reviews by AnneEK

Lovely small site, back of a working farm, with veiws which is nice, flat gravel pitches and a good size, EHU really close to moho, wc waste a nice level at which to empty, and good water pressure, as said Sainsburys up the hill and diesel at the right money,£1.60. No showers or toilet, but we do not use sites for those services, we are just under 8m, so always use our own facilities, access to the site is easy.View all reviews by coxieboy

Small tidy site tucked away behind farm buildings, entered through the farmyard. The pitches are all decently sized gravel with EHU but quite close together. There is a pleasant downhill view, fresh water and black/grey waste disposal by the gate. Cost us £18/night with EHU included, paid by cash. Location was beautifully quiet (apart from the occasional "moo" from the yard), yet less than 8 miles from central Leeds and 200m from a Sainsbury's Local and fuel station.View all reviews by beni120
