Abbey Quarry is situated in the village of Linby, Nottinghamshire. The nearest town is Hucknall which is immediately to the south-west. The village grew up around the mills on the River Leen, from which Linby’s name is derived from. Small streams known as Linby Docks run on both sides of the main street. The village also has a farm shop, local pub and is a great starting place for many walks.
